Volunteer OPPORTUNITIES

Admissions Welcome and greet visitors; handle special event admission ticket sales; provide basic information about the event. Please note that duties may be performed outdoors in cold and/or inclement weather.

Baking Provide individually wrapped baked goods for sale for special events.

Refreshment Sales Sell refreshments for special events. Please note that duties may be performed outdoors in cold and/or inclement weather.

Parking Attendant Provide vehicle direction to visitors during special events and provide basic information about the event.  Please note that duties may be performed outdoors in cold and/or inclement weather.

Historic Tour Guide Interpret 18th century or colonial revival period room(s) in historic Hope Lodge to visitors of all ages.

Set-up/Clean-up Assistant Table /tent set up and breakdown, trash can placement and collection, distribution of straw and firewood and general grounds clean up. Please note that duties may be performed outdoors in cold and/or inclement weather.

Property Committee Assist with carpentry, painting and general property clean-up.

Museum Shop Cashier Handle museum shop sales.

Office/Clerical Welcome and greet visitors; answer telephone; take messages; provide assistance to visitors and callers; handle admission ticket sales and museum shop sales.

Gardening Care for the gardens of historic Hope Lodge by planting, weeding, watering and mulching.
